This is a picture of the Church where Chloe Climelia Ives and John Harvey Ariail were probably married in Meriden Connecticut. We have documents showing that John was in South Carolina before he married Chloe. He went back to Connecticut to marry had his first son there and then came South with his family and a cousin of Chloe. Chloes cousin is buried in the same Cemetery in which John and Chloe are interred. Documents also reflect that Manna Rich Ariail brother of John Ariail probably also came to Pickens County South Carolina before heading for Louisiana.
