He was 1 generation older than our James Claudius Ariail from the Nails Creek Community and the man for whom the Ariail Reunion first started as a birthday party. His name was Jean Baptiste Ariail and he was 2nd cousin 1 time removed from James Claudius Ariail. Now this is whom you see in the picture.
