Top picture is that of the family plot of Luke Ives Ariail and his wife Nancy Pearl Lesley Ariail in Westview Cemetery, Easley, South Carolina. This is one of the grave plots that was beautifully restored by the Ariail Family Reunion Association. When first found, the stones were removed from the grave sites, and as is readily visible, a roadway was across part of the two graves. The stones were reset in place, coping and chipped stone was placed on the graves, thus securing them for many years to come The bottom picture is that of the stone for Nancy Pearl Lesley Ariail with the inscription “Mother of Methodist Ministers”.
