Top picture is of Carmel Presbyterian Church near Easley, South Carolina. Climelia Abigail Ariail, her husband and several of her descendants are buried here in the cemetery. Bottom picture is of the grave site of Luke Ives Ariail and his wife Nancy Pearl Lesley. Lorraine Anne Patterson and Lt.Col. Doyce Ariail are standing at the stones. You will note that the graves are in the middle of one of the cemetery driveways. The Reunion Association Committee took this on as a project and the stones were reset, cleaned, coping put around the graves, plastic laid upon the ground with chipped stones placed on the graves. The city will no longer be able to run across these graves with the vehicles and cemetery equipment.
