Both pictures are of the tomb of Col. Manna Rich Ariail in the Cyprus Grove Cemetery #1 in New Orleans, Louisiana. When we located the tomb, which is the Tomb of Joseph Foy, it was in bad shape. Caulking was absent from the seams, the structure of the tomb was cracked, portions of the iron fence around the tomb was missing. The Ariail Cemetery Committee took this on as a project in conjunction with one of his descendants, John Ariail, who lives there in Louisiana and the brought the tomb back into integrity with a great deal of expense to the Committee and family.
