Top picture is another view of the Tomb of Manna Rich Ariail. Bottom marker is that for Lt. George Chester Kimball, a cousin of Lorraine Anne Patterson, wife of the Ariail Family Historian, James W. Patterson. He was born about 1803 in Beech Woods, Pennsylvania. He later moved to Gonzales, Texas with his wife and family. He made hats for an occupation but was also head of the Texas Rangers at Gonzales, Texas. When the call for reinforcements came from the Alamo, he gathered all his Texas Rangers, approximately 32 in number went to the Alamo and fought alongside David Crockett and the others that were there. They all died in that battle.
