Top picture is grave marker for Vincent Dallas “Dad” Ariail and his wife Minnie Ethel Tanner Ariail. Vincent is son of Oscar Lee Ariail. Bottom picture is that of the Patterson Family Cemetery on Caudell Road in Banks County, Georgia. The entire area was in need of much cleaning and repair. This picture was taken approximately 25 years ago and the cemetery is now cleaned each year by James Patterson and his wife Lorraine. James is the son of Lillie Blanche Ariail. This cemetery was originally located in the back yard of the Patterson Plantation and approximately 80 members of the family are interred here with only 3 readily identifiably.
