It is the Catholic Church Record of the birth of Edouard Quertier He was the son of Mary Anne Ariail daughter of Jean-Baptiste Mathias Ariail and Marie Louise Allard. Mary Anne Ariail was the mother of 17 children. Edouard Quertier was child #12 and became a famous Catholic Priest in Canada. See several other documents in the web site pertaining to him. Also see the statue of him and the church which he was Parish Priest for several years. He would be 1st cousin 4 times removed of the family Reunion President Keith Ariail.
