This is a picture of one of the Ariail families in Canada. The father and some of the children are missing because there were 12 children in the family. He was 1 generation older than our James Claudius Ariail from the Nails Creek Community and the man for whom the Ariail Reunion first started as a birthday party. His name was Jean Baptiste Ariail and he was 2nd cousin 1 time removed from James Claudius Ariail. Now this is whom you see in the picture. The father Jean Baptiste Ariail not in picture was born Jul 20 1842 and died Jun 9 1886.
